This character’s adventures were continued in Noc z czwartku na niedzielę, Topielica, and Grób. In 2011, she received the Great Caliber Award, which is the most prestigious prize for crime and mystery literature, for the novel Topielica. Since that time, all her novels have been bestsellers, and the literary character Julia Dobrowolska has become a cult hero.
