The most important is Architecture series, tome IV
Reckless destruction of natural heritage (On an extent greater than ever concerning democratic Poland), which we have had to face for some time now, provoked Ewa Mańkowska-Grin to create next volume from the The most important is Architecture series. This upcoming tome is entirely dedicated to trees. EMG publishing house proposed elected authors to write essays about trees and their role in the context of urban and architectonic acts. The variety of outlooks and attitudes presented in the drafts captures the quantity of ways of understanding and describing the difficult relationship between nature and culture.
The texts of Barbara Bartkowicz, Marta Leśniakowska, Małgorzata Omilanowska, Olga Tokarczuk, Grzegorz Piątek, Jan Rylke and Piotr Wróbel which form the book trigger the issues of interdependence, fervent conflict, blending and cohabitation of a world of trees with the fiercely developing human civilization and its most visible emanation: Architecture and buildings.
The series is dedicated to the memorial of prof. Tomasz Mańkowski, architect.
